Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Ahmet Davutoğlu bid farewell to the Foreign Ministry staff.

Foreign Minister Davutoğlu, in his farewell speech said that it had been an honor and a heavy responsibility during a time of many challenges.

“There are at least seven or eight troubled countries in Turkey's region. In order to become one of the top ten biggest economies in the world, Turkey needs to provide peace and stability around the region” he said.

Foreign Minister Davutoğlu highlighted Turkey's representation overseas and the increased number of employees as signs of Turkey's growing influence abroad.

Foreign Minister Davutoğlu thanked to all staff and their families for their efforts during his period.
