Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu paid a visit to Croatia on 9-10 July 2015 to attend Croatia Forum.

The conference, held annually with the participations of Foreign Ministers of the EU countries was themed “New Development Policy - Towards Partnership and Common Vision”.

Addressing the conference, Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu informed the participants about the priorities of Turkey’s G-20 presidency and the development agenda. Minister Çavuşoğlu reminded the participants that those priorities were set as “inclusiveness, implementation and investment for growth” and underlined the importance Turkey attaches to development.

Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu expressed that Turkey, with its official development aid amounting to 3.3 billion dollars, is a leading rising donor country and emphasized that Turkey continues to strengthen its diplomatic, cultural and economic ties with the developing countries.

Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu also stated that Turkey will host the first World Humanitarian Summit in 2016.

Within the scope of his visit, Foreign Minister was also received by President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović and met with his Croatian counterpart, Vesna Pusić.
