Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu accompanied President Erdoğan in Mali, the last stop of President’s visit to Africa, on 2 March 2018.

The said visit constituted the first official presidential visit from Turkey to Mali.

President Erdoğan had a tete-a-tete meeting with President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita of Mali.

During the visit, eight bilateral agreements were signed between Turkey and Mali.
