Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu visited Germany on 6-7 March 2018 to meet with Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel and to attend ITB Berlin Tourism Fair as well as activities organized by SETA Berlin and Körber Foundations.

On March 6, Tuesday, Minister Çavuşoğlu met with his German counterpart Sigmar Gabriel. During the meeting, bilateral and regional issues were discussed at length. Turkey’s expectation from Germany to act in solidarity in our fight against terrorism was emphasized.

Minister Çavuşoğlu also met with Mario Ohaven, President of the German Association for Small and Medium-sized Businesses. At the meeting, the importance attached to cooperation between SMEs in Turkey and Germany for further developing bilateral economic and trade relations was underlined.

At the meeting that was organized by SETA Berlin Foundation, Minister Çavuşoğlu delivered a speech to journalists, businessmen, NGO representatives as well as politicians.

On March 7, Wednesday morning, Minister Çavuşoğlu attended the “Political Breakfast”, organized by Körber Foundation, and gave a speech.

On the same day, Minister Çavuşoğlu visited ITB Berlin Tourism Fair.
