Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu met with President Rustam Minnikhanov of the Tatarstan Republic of the Russian Federation on 26 April 2018.

At the meeting, Minister Çavuşoğlu emphasized that Turkey's cooperation with brotherly Tatarstan is an important aspect of Turkey-Russian Federation relations.

Minister Çavuşoğlu and President Minnikhanov evaluated all cooperation areas including economy, trade, culture and tourism, between Turkey and Tatarstan.
