Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu paid an official visit to Pakistan on 13-14 September 2018 upon the invitation of Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi.

On September 14, Friday, Minister Çavuşoğlu met with his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi.

Following the meeting, two Ministers held a joint press conference.

During the visit, Minister Çavuşoğlu was received by President Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Minister Çavuşoğlu conveyed his condolences to former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif of Pakistan on the demise of his wife.
