Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu visited Brussels to attend the NATO Foreign Ministers Meeting on 27 April 2018.

At the Foreign Ministerial, views on the current security environment were exchanged and the preparations of the upcoming NATO Summit to be held in Brussels on 11-12 July 2018 were reviewed.

On the sidelines of the Meeting, Minister Çavuşoğlu and Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto of Hungary, Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias of Greece, and Foreign Minister Ine Eriksen Soreide of Norway exchanged views on issues in the Alliance’s agenda and discussed our bilateral relations.

At the meeting held between Minister Çavuşoğlu and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, topics on Turkey-US common agenda including fight against terrorism, Syria, Iraq, FETO, consular and other issues were discussed. Minister Çavuşoğlu wished Secretary Pompeo success in his new post.
