Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu is paying a visiting to Qatar on 1-2 November 2018 upon the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani. During the visit, preparations for the fourth meeting of Turkey-Qatar Supreme Strategic Committee will be reviewed.

On November 1, Thursday, Minister Çavuşoğlu met with his Qatari counterpart Al Thani. At the meeting, both Ministers evaluated the excellent bilateral cooperation between Turkey and Qatar.

Minister Çavuşoğlu stated that Turkish and Qatari views on regional issues also converge because the goal of the two countries is the peace, tranquility, and stability of the region.
