Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu is visiting the US to attend the 73rd Session of the UN General Assembly, 22-27 September 2018

Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu is visiting New York on 22-27 September 2018 to participate in the 73rd Session of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly and to hold bilateral contacts, which is attended by President Erdoğan.

On September 23, Sunday, Minister Çavuşoğlu met with Foreign Minister Luis Alberto Castiglioni of Paraguay. At the meeting, Minister Çavuşoğlu noted that Turkey and Paraguay are mutually opening their embassies in the capitals, Ankara and Asuncion.

On the same day, Minister Çavuşoğlu also met with Foreign Minister Lesego Makgothi of Lesotho, Georgia's new Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani and Kudret Özersay, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
