Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu paid a visit to Qatar together with Minister of Economy Nihat Zeybekçi to exchange views on recent developments in the region and also bilateral relations.

Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu and Minister of Economy Zeybekçi met with their Qatari counterparts Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani and Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Thani in Doha.

Minister Çavuşoğlu and Minister Zeybekci, received by the Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, shared information on Turkey’s contacts aimed at resolving the problem in the region.

Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu informed the press on the contacts in Qatar before his departure for Kuwait.
