Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu paid a visit to Italy to attend the meeting on Syria held on the margins of the G7 Foreign Ministers Meeting in Lucca on 11 April 2017.

The latest developments on the Syrian conflict and the way forward have been addressed at the meeting to which, alongside Turkey; Italy, Germany, France, UK, USA, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Jordan and the EU have also been invited.

Minister Çavuşoğlu, on the margins of the meeting, evaluated the situation in Syria and the steps to be taken alsowith U.S. Secretary of State Tillerson.

Minister Çavuşoğlu has replied the questions of media after the meeting.
