Turkey-Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) Quartet Fourth Foreign Ministers Meeting was held in Istanbul on 21 April 2017.

Turkey’s relations with the Latin American and Caribbean region and current regional and international developments were discussed at the meeting attended by El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Ecuador and Guyana.

In the margins of the event, Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu hold a bilateral meeting with Vice President and Minister of Foreign Affairs Carl Greenidge of Guyana. A Memorandum of Understanding for the establishment of a mechanism on political consultations between Foreign Ministries of Turkey and Guyana was signed.

Central American Integration System and Community of Latin American and Carribbean States Quartet Ministers visiting Turkey were received together by President Erdoğan on April 21th, in Istanbul .
