Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu met with United Nations (UN) High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi, who is paying a visit to Turkey between 14-17 February 2018, on February 15, Thursday.

At the meeting, UN High Commissioner for Refugees Grandi thanked Turkey for hosting most number of refugees in the world, and Turkey’s assistance to not only Syrian but also other refugees in other regions such as Bangladesh and Somalia. Minister Çavuşoğlu and UN High Commissioner for Refugees Grandi also discussed the importance of responsibility sharing by the international community with regard to refugees.
