“Economic and Commercial Cooperation Agreement” was signed on 2006 and came into force in 2017.

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency has been involved in various projects such as, support for “Lifesaving Measures for Childbirth” project, medicine and medical device aid, grant for hospital devices and beds, humanitarian aid for Arakan region and construction of orphanage, computer laboratory, library, asphalt road, overhead power line, Turkish cemetery and temporary shelter in order to contribute to the development of Myanmar. Since 2021, humanitarian assistance is prioritised.
