“Economic and Commercial Cooperation Agreement” was signed on 20 April 2006.

Türkiye’s Official Development Assistance in Myanmar is 61,26 million USD between years of 2004 and 2012 in total.

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency has been involved in various projects such as, support for “Lifesaving Measures for Childbirth” project, medicine and medical device aid, grant for hospital devices and beds, humanitarian aid for Arakan region and construction of orphanage, computer laboratory, library, asphalt road, overhead power line, Turkish cemetery and temporary shelter in order to contribute the development of Myanmar since 2012.

The amount of aid provided through TIKA, Disaster and Emergency Managament Presidency (AFAD) and Kızılay between 2012-2021 is approximately 13,4 million dollars.
