Main Export Items of Türkiye: Poultry products, spices, motor vehicles, tractors, bicycles, motorcycles and other land vehicles parts, parts and accessories, knitted clothing items and accessories.

Main Import Items of Türkiye:Synthetic and artificial staple fibers, other woven fabrics, rubber and rubber inner tubes, electrical machinery and equipment, telephone equipment, parts and accessories, clothing,, skins and leather .

The Trade and Economic Cooperation Agreement which is signed with Lao PDR in 2008 and established the legal framework of bilateral economic and commercial relations came into force in 2013.

In accordance with the Türkiye-Lao PDR Trade and Economic Cooperation Agreement Joint Economic Commission (JEC) is established to boost the bilateral economic and commercial relations. JEC has not convened yet and the first meeting of JEC is planned to be organized in the first half of 2026.

TİKA has been implementing projects in Laos in areas such as education, agriculture, health, capacity building, and combating natural disasters and UXO clearance since 2008.

The total amount of bilateral official development assistance Türkiye has provided to Laos to date exceeds 1,150,000 US Dollars.
