Türkiye-Armenia Economic Relations

As a result of spreading of the war between Armenian and Azerbaijani forces and the occupation of Kalbajar region of Azerbaijan, the common land border between Türkiye and Armenia was closed.

Following the II. Karabakh War, Special Representatives were appointed within the context of Türkiye-Armenia Normalization Process, who decided to commence the air cargo trade between two countries on 1 July 2022 in Vienna.
