The bilateral trade volume between Türkiye and Switzerland stood at 4 billion 309 million USD in 2021. In 2022, bilateral trade volume reached 16 billion 670 million Dollars (Turkish exports: 1 million 335 million USD, imports: 15 billion 335 million USD).

Around 1.000 Swiss companies are operating in Türkiye in various fields.

Main Turkish exports to Switzerland are gold, automobile, petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals, crunchy fruits (fresh/dried), medicines. Main imports from Switzerland are gold, chemical industry products (medicine, vaccine, serum), watches, fiber and yarn manufacturing machines, mixture of odorizing chemicals used as raw material in industry, orthopedic devices, devices for fractures, hearing aids.

Total amount of direct investments from Switzerland to Türkiye in the period of 2005-2022 was 4 billion 312 million USD, while the figure is 1 billion 336 million USD for investments from Türkiye to Switzerland in the same period.

The number of Swiss tourists visiting our country in 2022 has reached to 382,835.
