Turkey-Pakistan High Level Cooperation Council Meeting was held in Islamabad.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu accompanied Prime Mininister Ahmet Davutoğlu who paid an official visit to Pakistan on 17 February to Pakistan and attended the Fourth Turkey-Pakistan High Level Cooperation Council (HLCC) Meeting.

The last meeting of the High-Level Cooperation Council, which was established in 2009, was hosted by Turkey on September 2013. 40 documents which foresee deepening relations in several fields were signed in the first three meetings. Within the framework of the 4th meeting, 11 new documents were signed.

During the 4th meeting co-chaired by Prime Minister Davutoğlu and Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif, views on regional, international and bilateral issues were exchanged. At the meeting, important decisions were taken as regards the fight against terrorism, security, trade, energy, transportation and other areas.
