Turkey-EU Ministerial Political Dialogue Meeting was held on 9 September 2016 in Ankara with the participation of Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini and EU Commissioner for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn. In the meeting, issues related to Turkey’s accession negotiations, Turkey-EU cooperation, migration, visa liberalization, regional developments and fight against terrorism were discussed, and a joint press conference was held afterwards.
