Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates paid an official visit to Turkey on 16-17 October 2016 upon the invitation of Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu. In the meetings held during the visit, bilateral relations and regional developments were discussed. Speaking at the joint press conference held after their meetings, Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Al-Nahyan underlined the goal of further developing bilateral relations.
