The decision on the closure of the Office of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) in Washington, DC is worrying and also another indication of the United States’ loss of impartiality in the Middle East Peace Process.

This decision will serve no purpose other than encouraging the attempts aimed at damaging the vision of a two-state solution.

Turkey will continue standing by the Palestinian people in their rightful cause and supporting the international efforts to find a just and lasting solution to the Palestinian question.
