President of the Sudan Mr. Al Bashir is expected to visit Istanbul to attend the COMCEC meeting organised by OIC, of which Sudan is a member. The said COMCEC meeting organised by OIC is a gathering, which OIC members participate in without requiring an additional invitation.

OIC does not have a resolution that would prevent the attendance of any member State to this meeting. Turkey is, consequently, in a position of host country to this meeting and a bilateral visit is not the case.
