President of Moldova H.E. Nicolae Timofti paid a state visit to Turkey upon the invitation of President of Turkey H.E. Abdullah Gül on December 17- 18, 2013.

During the meetings chaired by President Gül and President Timofti, all aspects of bilateral relations, particularly political and economic issues were discussed.

With a view to implementing the cooperation program which was signed in Chisinau on December 17, 2007, an Action Plan between Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey and Ministry of Culture of Moldova was signed in the presences of the two Presidents following the meetings.
