On 4 January 2019, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu met with Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi of Pakistan, who came to Turkey accompanying Prime Minister Imran Khan.

At the meeting, bilateral relations and regional developments were discussed.

Minister Çavuşoğlu thanked Pakistan for declaring FETO as a terrorist organization, a decision that confirms our brotherly ties.

On the same day, with a delegation headed by President Erdoğan Minister Çavuşoğlu attended the meetings with Prime Minister Imran Khan of Pakistan.
