US Secretary of State H.E. Mrs. Hillary Clinton will visit Turkey on 15-16 July 2011 upon the invitation of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey H.E. Mr. Ahmet Davutoğlu. Secretary of State Clinton will attend the Fourth Contact Group Meeting on Libya to be held on 15 July 2011 in Istanbul and conduct bilateral contacts.

During this bilateral visit, in addition to the meeting chaired by Minister Davutoğlu, it is expected that the US Secretary of State will also be received by the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister.

Turkey and the United States are two friendly and allied countries. Intensive contacts that behoves the concept of Model Partnership are being conducted at all levels. During Mrs. Clinton's visit, bilateral relations as well as some global and regional issues which figure on our common agenda are expected to be reviewed.
