We strongly condemn the bomb attacks perpetrated in the morning hours today (20 March) in different cities of Iraq, especially in Baghdad, Karbala, Kirkuk and Mosul, which resulted in the death and injury of dozens of Iraqi people. Furthermore, we wish mercy upon those who lost their lives in the attacks, convey our condolences to the bereaved families of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to those wounded.

Furthermore, we deplore that one of the bomb attacks perpetrated in Baghdad targeted the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iraq, and we wish our Iraqi colleagues well.

Turkey will maintain its solidarity with the friendly and brotherly people of Iraq in its fight against terrorism.
