We have learned with sorrow that eighty people lost their lives and more than one hundred and fifty people were injured in the bomb attack perpetrated yesterday (16 February 2013) in the town of Quetta in Pakistan.

We wish God's mercy upon those who lost their lives, convey our condolences to their bereaved families and wish a speedy recovery to those wounded.

We strongly condemn this terrorist attack that targeted the Hazara community which is part of the friendly and brotherly people of Pakistan and aimed at destabilizing this country.

On this occasion, we once again express that Turkey is always in solidarity with the friendly and brotherly people of Pakistan.
