We have learned with sorrow that dozens of people lost their lives and many were injured in the attacks perpetrated on 29-30 December in the city of Volgograd, in the Russian Federation.

As a country which has always stressed that no objective or motive can legitimize terrorist activities, we condemn these terror attacks in the strongest possible terms.

We convey our condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the attacks and wish a speedy recovery to the wounded.
