We have learned with deep sorrow that Nelson Mandela, the Founding President of the Republic of South Africa passed away on 5 December 2013.

Legendary leader and statesman Mandela, who played a prominent role in the advancement of universal human values, will be respectfully remembered for centuries and will continue to inspire future generations all over the world for his brave and noble fight against racism and for equality, democracy and justice, his quest for reconciliation and his uncompromising forgiveness in this struggle.

We convey our deepest condolences to friendly South Africa and to his bereaved family for the sad loss of great leader Mandela, leaving behind an unforgettable legacy of humanity to his country as well as to Africa and to the whole world.
