We welcome the fact that the coalition Government formed under the leadership of Prime Minister Najib Mikati has received a vote of confidence from the Lebanese Parliament.

We wholeheartedly believe that the new Government will work to preserve peace, security and stability in Lebanon and promote the serenity, welfare and wellbeing of the friendly and brotherly Lebanese people.

As it do so in the past, Turkey will continue to contribute to efforts aimed at preserving the unity, solidarity, peace and stability of Lebanon and the reconstruction of the country.
