 We have received news of an inhumane attack on a hospital in the province of Logar in Afghanistan today with profound sadness. We strongly condemn this heinous attack which constitutes a crime against humanity. The attack targeted the calm which the Afghan people highly deserve and the peace process aimed at achieving it. We wish mercy upon those who lost their lives, convey our condolences to the bereaved families of the victims and wish speedy recovery to the wounded. We have no doubt that the Afghan people will overcome these difficult times.
