Mr. Ahmet Davutoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey received Head of Syrian Turkmen Assembly, Samir Hafiz on July 18, 2013.

During the meeting where the current situation and recent developments in Syria were discussed, Foreign Minister Davutoğlu stressed the special importance given to Syrian Turkmens and expressed Turkey’s readiness to help Turkmens in any issue regardless of where they live in the region.

In return, Head of Syrian Turkmen Assembly Samir Hafiz thanked Turkey on behalf of Syrian Turkmens for the interest and support shown to them.
