Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel of the Federal Republic of Germany paid a visit to Turkey on 5 June 2017.

In the meetings held during the visit, current state of bilateral relations between Turkey and Germany, regional and international issues were discussed. Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu and Foreign Minister Gabriel held a joint press conference after the meetings.

During his visit Foreign Minister Gabriel was received by President Erdoğan.
