In 2024, bilateral trade volume in goods and services stood at 13 billion 588 million USD, with Turkish exports at 8 billion 568 million USD and imports at 5 billion 20 million USD. In 2025, our bilateral trade volume was 13 billion 30 million USD (Turkish exports: 8 billion 17 million USD, our imports from the Netherlands are 5 billion 15 million USD).

Main items of Türkiye’s exports to the Netherlands are vehicles for transporting goods, cars, station wagons, race cars and textiles, whilst main items of Türkiye’s imports from the Netherlands are iron and steel, scrap, polyacetals, other polyathers, epoxide, alkyd resins, oils obtained from petroleum and bituminous minerals, tractors.

In the period of 2005-2025, the Netherlands’ direct investment to our country reached almost 33 billion USD. The Netherlands continues to rank first in terms of foreign direct investments to Türkiye. In the 2005-2025 period, the amount of direct investment from Türkiye to the Netherlands reached nearly 21 billion USD.

The number of companies established by business people of Turkish origin in the Netherlands are around 23 thousand. With investments of roughly 6 billion Euros, these entrepreneurs employ nearly 80,000 people and generate a turnover of around 8 billion Euros.
