All the members of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and DMEDD (The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spouses’ Association) were deeply grieved by the recent natural disaster causing great loss of human life and heavy material damage in brotherly and friendly Pakistan.
At this trying moment, in order to help relieve the destructive effects and sorrows of this disaster, a wide-ranging relief campaign will be launched under the patronage of Minister Mr. Ahmet Davutoğlu and of Mrs. Sare Davutoğlu.
The main objective of the campaign is to build a medical center in Pakistan by the Ministry and the DMEDD. With this understanding, a series of charity bazaars, concerts, food festivals, cultural-sports activities and similar events will be organized through the Ministry, DMEDD and Turkish representations abroad. This campaign will provide an opportunity for public foundations, associations, businesspeople and corporations as well as individuals to reach out to the victims of the catastrophe in a meaningful way.
