Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait paid an official visit to Turkey on 12-13 February 2013.

At the meeting between Foreign Minister Davutoğlu and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kuwait, all aspects of bilateral relations were reviewed and views were exchanged on regional and international developments which bear importance for both countries.

At the joint press conference, pointing out the comprehensive cooperation between the two countries, Foreign Minister Davutoğlu said that Sabah Al Ahmed Al Cabir Al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait would visit Turkey on 29 April 2013, in this context, the preparations for the visit were also discussed.

“In recent years, investments of Kuwaiti investors in Turkey are more visible in the Turkish economy” said Foreign Minister Davutoğlu adding that Turkish companies also undertook important projects in Kuwait and economic cooperation between the two countries would be further developed.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kuwait was also received by H.E. Abdullah Gül, President of Turkey and H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Prime Minister of Turkey.
