We are concerned about the armed clashes that occurred in Juba, the capital of South Sudan last weekend and the ensuing tension in the city. We follow the developments closely and call for an end to these clashes without delay, for finding a solution to the problems through peaceful means and acting with restraint.

Turkey, within the framework of the position it has adopted since the independence of South Sudan, will continue providing all kind of support and doing its share to establish the security, the stability and the development of the country in collaboration with the international community.
