High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Baroness Catherine Ashton called Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Mr. Ahmet Davutoğlu and informed him that the talks in Geneva between Iran and P5+1 countries took place in a positive atmosphere, that contributions of Turkey in this process were appreciated, and it was agreed that the next meeting will be held in Turkey at the end of January.

H.E. Mr. Ahmet Davutoğlu welcomed the initiation of talks in a constructive framework. He stated that Turkey will keep its contributions to the global and regional peace. He also added that Turkey is pleased with the decision of the next meeting to be held in Turkey and that Turkey will be glad to host participants.
