Commercial and Economic Relations between Turkey and Finland

In 2018, bilateral trade volume between Turkey and Finland reached 1.323 billion US Dollars (Turkish exports 339 million USD; imports 984 billion USD), corresponding a 7 % increase compared to the previous year.

Turkey’s main items of exports to Finland include motor cars, parts and accessories for motor vehicles, ceramic flags and paving, while its main import items from Finland are chemical wood pulp, paper and paperboard, coated with kaolin or inorganic substances and alloy steel flat-rolled products.

Foreign direct investments from Finland to Turkey between 2002 and 2018 amounted to 366 million Dollars, while Turkish foreign direct investments in Finland in the same period were 19 million Dollars.

128.860 Finnish tourists visited Turkey in 2018, corresponding to a 33 % increase compared to the previous year.
