Foreign Minister Ertuğruloğlu of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) paid a working visit to Turkey on 27-28 December 2016 upon the invitation of Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu.

In the meetings held during the visit, the negotiation process regarding the settlement of the Cyprus issue as well as cooperation between Turkey and TRNC were discussed.
