Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu paid a working visit to Pakistan on 1-2 August 2016 and met with Pakistani authorities. Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu, who was received by the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan, also had a meeting with Sartaj Aziz, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs. In the meetings, bilateral relations and regional developments were discussed. On the other hand, Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu expressed his thanks to Pakistan for demonstrating support and solidarity following the coup attempt in Turkey.
