Within the existing framework of the consultation mechanism, Foreign Ministers of Poland and Romania paid a visit to Turkey on 25 August 2016 to demonstrate their solidarity following the 15 July coup attempt. In the context of the Trilateral Meeting of Foreign Ministers, which was hosted by Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu, the coup attempt and FETO threat, regional developments, outcomes of the NATO Warsaw Summit, Turkey-EU relations as well as bilateral relations were discussed.
