Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Justice Minister Abdülhamit Gül, Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak and Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu attended the Sixth Reform Action Group Meeting on 9 May 2019.

Following the meeting which was chaired by President Erdoğan for the first time, Minister Çavuşoğlu held a press conference.

Minister Çavuşoğlu emphasized that even if accession negotiations are politically hindered, Turkey still continued efforts to comply with EU standards with determination and that Visa Liberalization Dialogue was our priority.

On tha same day, Minister Çavuşoğlu met with Ambassador Akio Miyajima of Japan.

Minister Çavuşoğlu stated that the process towards signing the Economic Partnership Agreement with Japan was on the right track.
