Participation of Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu in the Extraordinary NATO Foreign Ministers VTC Meeting, 7 January 2022

On 7 January 2022, Minister Çavuşoğlu participated in the extraordinary NATO Foreign Ministers VTC Meeting prior to NATO-Russia Council.

In the morning of the same day, Minister Çavuşoğlu also met with Dusen Kaseinov, the Secretary General of TURKSOY (International Organization of Turkic Culture), which contributed to the solidarity of the Turkic world. Minister Çavuşoğlu stated that we were pleased that Bursa was elected as the 2022 Cultural Capital of the Turkic World and emphasized that as the Turkic world, we were fully determined to act in unity and solidarity.

Finally, Minister Çavuşoğlu met with Fikrim Damka, Minister of Regional Development of Kosovo and Chairman of the Kosovo Turkish Democratic Party (KDTP). Minister Çavuşoğlu stated that our support to the Turkish community in Kosovo would continue.
