Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu met with Geir O. Pedersen, UN Special Envoy for Syria in Ankara on 12 June 2019.

At the meeting, the latest developments in Syria were discussed.

Minister Çavuşoğlu emphasized that the preservation of Idlib de-escalation area and advancing political process were our main objectives.

On the same day Minister Çavuşoğlu met also with Andrija Nikolic, Chairperson of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants of the Parliament of Montenegro and members of the Committee.

Minister Çavışoğlu stated that they held a frank meeting and that the relations with this friendly country were developing in all fields.
