On 8 May 2019 Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu met with Ambassador Jorge Mastropietro of Argentina.

Minister Çavuşoğlu wished newly appointed Ambassador success and stated that cooperation with Argentina in aerospace industry is very promising.

On the same day Minister Çavuşoğlu met also with Ambassador Charles Fries of France.

Minister Çavuşoğlu stated that we attached importance to our relations with France and that he was pleased to see commercial and economic relations expand. Minister Çavuşoğlu emphasized that on the Syria issue, France should review its stance regarding PYD/YPG, offshoot of the terrorist organization PKK in Syria.
