We are following closely the ongoing demonstrations in Thailand. We are concerned by the fact that they have reached a dimension where government buildings are being occupied by the demonstrators. We hope that the parties will settle their differences in democratic maturity by maintaning peace and security in the country and by respecting the rule of law as well as refraining from violence.
