We are pleased that Israel and Syria are going to resume the peace negotiations for the Middle East Peace Process, which had been discontinued since March 1996.

Turkey, a supporter of the Middle East Peace Process from the beginning, hopes that through negotiations, either ongoing or to be resumed in all tracks, the Process would soon be completed with success, paving the way to an equitable and comprehensive peace in the region.
