H.E. Abdullah Gül, President of Turkey pays a state visit to Portugal at the invitation of H.E. Cavaco Silva, President of Portugal on 5-8 May 2013.

President Gül had a tete-a-tete with his Portuguese counterpart. The two leaders afterwards chaired the talks between their delegations. During the meetings, the all aspects of the bilateral relations particularly the economic relations between the two countries were reviewed. Presidents also exchanged views on Turkey’s negotiation process with the EU, the recent developments in the Mediterranean region and other international matters were exchanged.
