The political consultations between Turkey and Iran were held in Ankara on May 23, 2013.

At the meeting between the delegations headed by Ambassador Ömer Önhon, Deputy Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey and Seyyed Abbas Araqchi, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister and Spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry, bilateral relations, as well as regional and international issues concerning both countries were discussed.

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Araqchi was also received by Mr. Ahmet Davutoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey.
